Application Form. You
will also need to complete an Endorsement of International Applications Form,
which you can get from your district co-ordinator. A pen portrait and photo of
yourself in GirlGuiding uniform will also be required.
Though
the closing date at the National Office for applications is listed below, you
still need to allow time to complete your paperwork and pass on to your district
co-ordinator. You may be required to be interviewed by your district co-ordinator,
regional co-ordinator and Zone Manager. This all takes time, please don't delay!

GirlGuiding UK - Lancashire West
Open to leaders and girls aged between 12-16 years, at the time of the event.
Dates: 25-31 July 2009
Venue: Guys Farm Activity Centre near Lancaster, Lancashire.
Costs:
Event fee: £220 (approx NZD$565.00), which includes food, camp fee, activities, t-shirt, neckerchief and lots more! The camp fee does not cover transport to and from the Jamboree. Accommodation is available for International visitors in Guide Centres and schools after camp.
Air fares (approx only) $3,600.00 - excluding taxes. This is only an estimate obtained from Air New Zealand. Prices are subject to change due to increases and/or specials.
Insurance is a must; you may obtain either through Guides New Zealand at $5.00 per day, or through your Insurance Company.
Programme:
will include International Market Day, Backwoods Cooking, Giant Art Attack, Ropes Course, Water Sports, Quad Biking, Workshops, Campfire, Crafts, Climbing, Drumming, Masked Ball, Wide Games, and many more!
International Subsidy:
$750 for the Contingent Leader and $500 per girl

GirlGuiding and Girl Scouts - India
The
Community Volunteer Programme at Sangam World Centre offers a unique opportunity
to live the WAGGGS mission whilst staying in the supportive environment of Sangam
World Centre. After an extensive two-week orientation programme, participants
are placed with an Indian community organisation to volunteer for four months.
Open to members of WAGGGS 18 years and over.

Then
you should consider applying to be a volunteer at Sangam World Centre. Sangam
offers several volunteer opportunities for members of GirlGuiding and Scouting from
around the world. Volunteers
should be over 21 years of age with no upper age limit but fitness and a great
attitude is required! The hours can sometimes be long and there is always plenty
to keep you busy. Applicants need a strong background in GirlGuiding/Girl Scouting,
a genuine love for people, sensitivity to others' needs, flexibility, initiative,
a sense of humour and a belief in the basic principles of GirlGuiding/Girl Scouting.
Applications for all positions from June to March are due annually on 31 December
the year prior.
